Kids Choice Dental is one of the largest children’s dental health providers in the Denver Metro area of Colorado. Here at Kids Choice Dental, we offer all the services you or your children might need when it comes to making sure a smile stays beautiful for as long as possible. And alongside the services we offer, we make sure to inject a little fun education into our sessions and teach our patients the best way to brush their teeth and floss properly as well as why brushing and flossing are so important.

Some of the services offered at Kids Choice Dental include:

Comprehensive Exams – These assessments are the first step in finding the current status of the patient’s teeth. Depending on what is discovered during a comprehensive exam, a Kids Choice dentist will make recommendations on what steps, if any, should be taken next to ensure the patient’s oral health stays as well as possible.

Restorative Dentistry – Sometimes we -and our kids- don’t take the best care of our teeth, and that’s okay. We provide the restorative dentistry services you need to make sure that our patients’ smiles can get back to shining as bright as their unique personalities. If cavities are caught at an early stage it is possible to do a small filling without having to administer any numbing injections. Catching cavities in the early stages is a huge of making sure that all patients see our dentists at least once every six months for a regular cleaning.

Orthodontics – For those who need their teeth realigned, we offer a variety of orthodontic products and strategies.  Seeing an orthodontist can help you if you are suffering from speech impediments. What most people don’t realize is that needing braces can be a medical condition not just an aesthetic condition.

Cosmetic Dentistry – While some of the procedures that can be deemed cosmetic can also make the patient’s bite better, this style of dentistry has a primary focus on making one’s teeth and smile look as attractive as possible. This is done by addressing problems with teeth like chips, discoloration, grouping, large spaces, missing teeth, and more.

Crowns – Crowns can serve a number of purposes that range from adding stability to the affected tooth to holding together a cracked tooth and covering a discolored tooth to strengthening a tooth with a large filling and very little of the original enamel. This is one of the most common dental procedures available in the US.

Digital X-rays – Functionally speaking, digital x-rays offer a detailed look at and through the patient’s teeth with the exact same results as traditional film-based x-ray systems. However, digital x-rays work much faster as the film doesn’t need to be developed and the patient will receive far less radiation than traditional x-rays.  In 2005 Kids Choice Dental was one of the first offices in Denver to start using digital x-rays. Not only is it safer for the patient but it also allows us to show the parent the cavities that are in their child’s mouth.

Nitrous Oxide –  During more intensive procedures, caretakers and some patients have the option available to have the patient use nitrous oxide to make the dental appointment a more relaxing experience. While the patient is being treated they are breathing a mix of nitrous oxide and oxygen.  When the procedure is almost complete the nitrous is turned off and the patient is breathing only oxygen.  By the time they leave the office the nitrous will be mostly washed out of the system.  Should you have any questions or concerns about the use of nitrous oxide, feel free to call or visit us with any questions!

Same-day appointments are offered when available, but we highly recommend to all of our patients to make an appointment in advance. We do, however, completely understand that not all visits to the dentist are easy to plan around and we are happy to offer emergency care when it is needed. A Kids Choice Dental dentist is also available to speak with you after hours in case you are experiencing any discomfort that was not expected or explained during the appointment.

We accept most insurance including Medicaid and CHP+. Payment for professional services is due at the time dental treatment is provided. We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, and all major credit cards and Care Credit for those unexpected treatment plans that require higher dollars services. For extensive treatment, payment plans can be arranged. Our helpful staff is always available to answer any questions about scheduling or payments.
